“Teachable Safety Skills: Replacing Myths with Facts”- Community Workshop

Minnehaha Academy is proud to welcome Alison Feigh of the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center for a workshop on “Teachable Safety Skills: Replacing Myths with Facts” on Friday, November 4, 2016, from 8:45-9:45 a.m.

In this free, community workshop learn how caregivers can talk to children about personal safety without scaring them. Alison will provide current information about various safety concerns children and teens are facing today, both in-person and online, and how to educate youth on those concerns in a positive way. This information is based on the research and best practices of the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center.
